About Double Pop® License ApS
Popcorn
is one of the world’s most popular snacks known to children
and adults worldwide. Globally, it is not possible to find
a mechanically produced chocolate bar that contains a core
of caramelised popcorn. For the last 13 years, the men behind
the Double Pop® Licence ApS have been working on a way to construct the machinery to enable this production - a production of a nutritious, new chocolate bar combining popcorn, syrup and chocolate. This would normally be produced using the method that is known all over the world - boiling sugar and glucose into a caramel mass, after which the popped corns are added and stirred until all the popcorns are coated with caramel. So far, it has only been possible to do this method manually and in small quantities and never mechanically, as the caramel mass would dry up within a few minutes.
For the first time ever, it is now possible to produce a caramelised popcorn core mechanically. Double Pop® Licence ApS has invented and patented a method capable of producing large quantities of delicious chocolate bars - fast and
easy.

A
Long Jouney
The
journey has been long and it started many years ago when the
father of Kim Jacobsen (who was one of the men who had
the original idea behind Double Pop® License ApS) experimented with popcorn and caramelised syrup.
His father succeeded in developing an assortment of very famous
handmade lollipops that sold in the well-known Danish amusement
park, Tivoli.
Kim Jacobsen had a dream that one day he would be able to
mechanically produce a chocolate bar with a caramelized popcorn
core. Today, after 13 years, this dream has come true.
The recipe on how to mould the popcorn and get them coated
with chocolate before the caramel mass hardens, is now possible
thanks to his persistent work over the last 13 years.
So,
for the first time ever, a mechanically produced, completely
new and innovative chocolate bar with a core of caramel popcorn
is ready to start its journey to the consumers.
What is the secret?
Double Pop® Licence ApS has invented a unique way for the mechanical production of a chocolate bar with a core of caramel and popcorn and they have taken out the patent in 52 countries.
The
secret behind this production is how the syrup is boiled and
later mixed with the popcorn.
The
method is simple and enables even a small plant to produce
7000 bars an hour with only 2 employees hired
to run the machinery.
Why is this so fantastic?
There are numerous reasons to state why this is a fantastic
market and business opportunity for manufacturers and investors.
Let us just begin with the product itself. For the first time
ever, it is possible to produce a chocolate bar only containing
corn and delicious caramel syrup surrounding the core coated
by high quality chocolate.
The
result - a chocolate bar with very little fat produced with
nutritious ingredients – just with stable, low-priced
raw ingredients.
